Dining Options on Norwegian Pearl Cruises

The freestyle cruising concept that is well-known to Norwegian Pearl cruises casts away dress codes and strict dining hours.

In fact, the Pearl has eleven restaurants that range from traditional cuisine to exotic.

The main dining room aboard the ship is The Summer Palace. This dining room is fancy and dazzles with white and gold-trimmed ceilings and 24-carat gold-coated chandeliers.

There are a few different dining options available in this dining room which includes open seating or six-course dining with the same wait staff throughout the entire cruise.

Indigo is the second main dining room that is aboard Norwegian Pearl cruises. Indigo is a contemporary-styled dining room that features a lighter menu. The restaurant has 304 available seats and is L-shaped.

The colors of the restaurant are deep blues and violets which are offset by bands of bold orange, provocative backlit glass art panels of American iconography and angled wooden seating arrangements.

The Garden Café has been recently renovated and redesigned to include an indoor/outdoor food court. The food court has “action stations” for preparing made-to-order omelet’s, waffles, pasta and other specialties. The food court even includes a buffet that has a wide variety of items and an outdoor grill.

On one side of the Garden Café is the kids’ café- which provides small seats and low tables. On the other side, is an Italian restaurant that serves dinner only aboard all Norwegian Pearl cruises.

The Lotus Garden which costs approximately $12.50 to $20 per person has three restaurants comprised into one. There is an all-you-can-eat sushi bar, a teppanyaki room, and an Asian fusion restaurant. The teppanyaki room and the Asian fusion restaurant both require reservations. The traditional female costume and dance of the Far East is featured throughout the Lotus Garden.

If you have a taste for steaks and chops, then be sure to phone in your reservation for Cagney’s Steak House which is the signature restaurant aboard Norwegian Pearl cruises!

Perhaps you have a taste for Latin cuisine? Well, Mambo’s Latin/Tapas Restaurant features hot and spicy Latin and tapas selections on the menu for your dining pleasure. This restaurant can accommodate up to 96 people at full capacity and is a favorite among passengers aboard Norwegian Pearl Cruises!

The Great Outdoors restaurant is a buffet area that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meals are always varied, occasionally with a culinary theme. There are multiple serving stations throughout the restaurant that are especially helpful during busy meal times.

Serving stations for breakfast include custom-made waffles and omelets, while lunch and dinner features high quality meats such as prime rib, roast beef, and filet mignon. You can also choose pasta and sauces in a combination of your choice.

The reservation process to ensure that you and your party have a specified seating arrangement is very easy. The ship has placed seventeen screens around the ship in strategic locations. The screens are responsible for showing the availability time and or waiting time for each restaurant.

When you select a specific restaurant, you are given a beeper that buzzes when your table is ready. This gives you the freedom to wander the ship versus having to stand in a line to wait for your table to become available.
